HELLO THERE,
MY NAME IS TANYA...
I have taken on many roles in life, including positions at a hospital, research facility, and addiction treatment centre. I found that the most important work that I did in these roles was being present and actively witnessing and listening to people- this is healing in and of itself.
Fast forward a bit in time and I found myself unexpectedly living in Costa Rica. I had always engaged in the ancient practice of dance but had previously only touched the surface of what it can offer. It was on this land that I danced with the waves of the ocean, the dirt and trees of the Earth, the birds, wind and sun. I danced through grief, sorrow, and anger and found joy and bliss... I danced into aliveness and freedom. I had the profound realization that movement truly is healing medicine that I am to share.
I studied Dr. Gabor Mate`s Compassionate Inquiry material, took a coaching training program under the direction of a CBT therapist and certified Life and Wellness coach and graduated from the Mariposa Movement dance leadership program to further my capacity to lovingly hold space for Beautiful Souls like yourself.
The greatest experience I have to do what I do, however, has nothing to do with credentials and everything to do with my personal human life experiences. I have signed up for some extremely challenging experiences in this lifetime and have come to learn that your personal trauma ends up lying close to your gift. My gift lies in my ability to dive deep and authentically share Heart to Heart GuiDance.

What does it mean to forgive? forgiveness is a conscious, deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment, blame, or anger. When we forgive someone, we don`t condone their behavior. instead we recognize their path and their role in ours.

Though we often look outward when speaking of forgiveness, it is equally, if not more important, to forgive ourselves. Our soul has chosen to come on this physical journey- To have a human experience. We have a responsibility to feel our pain for our personal and collective healing. To offer love and forgiveness to the parts of ourselves that we might find difficult to address is one of the most transformative tools that we have.

The Dance of Forgiveness allows us to connect with our pain and let go. Through dance we empower ourselves to reveal and heal what we are ready to let go of that is no longer serving us.
